Antonetta Fernandes: Wedding Life Coach and Compere
Antonetta has spent the past 20 years as coach, adviser, friend, mentor, trainer and motivational speaker. In addition her personal style and inter-personal skills contributed to successful regeneration partnerships with local communities and businesses.
Born in Kenya, the eldest of 9 siblings and aged 14, she faced her 1st challenge by applying her grandmother’s philosophy “if a task is humanly possible rejoice it is well within your path to achieve”. Hardship and financial difficulties faced by her parents led her to be placed in a convent to complete her education.
Since then Antonetta, immigrated with her husband and starting a family in London. She excelled in her career from working for major private/public companies to empowering many local communities. Her involvement in organising “Convergence 97” at London Weekend Studios gave her a head start in embracing the internet, social media and mobile technology. Her ability to inspire community brought about the Queen’s award for “Unsung heroes” for
her local community group.
However, in 2000 changes rocked her world. A broken marriage, health issues and a drug addicted son she faced many hurdles as a single parent. With mounting debts, an income that could not support treatments for her son, she received a free gift at an event organised by Academy of Wealth & Achievement. Having graduated from the Academy as Master Results Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, NLP Trainer, Hypnotherapist and Performance Consultant – Antonetta has been able to help her son and many others like him to overcome their drug addiction. She is known for engaging with communities and is current involved in promoting a government health & social care initiative which comes into play in 2012.
Antonetta’s recent speaking appearances have earned her the reputation of being charismatic, passionate and a truly inspirational speaker.
